Celebrating twenty years of working with producer Jakup Zachariassen and other artists from the Faroe Islands, Edgar will be in the Faroes the last week in August for a variety of events, starting with a recording session and ending with a concert on August 29, featuring many of the Faroese artists Edgar has worked with.

works in a wide range of media, with a
primary focus in television and film.
For the past five years, he has been music
director and composer for the annual
"Academy of Country Music Awards," and is
embarking on his third year in the same
capacity for the "American Music Awards."
Edgar's musical leadership has been a
significant factor in the production of
highly rated television specials and series
over the years. His career in music
production and television was launched in
the mid '70s when he began a 15-year
engagement as the music director for Kenny
Rogers.
He brings exceptional
organizational skill and a passion for
creativity to each project, inspiring
collaborations that result in outstanding,
